Julia Rinklin - Studio Manager - (she/her)
Julia Rinklin was born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey where her alternative primary schooling helped cultivate her life-long admiration for the art. Julia began doing ceramics about 5 years ago while attending Santa Barbara City College, where she received a degree in Literature. In 2020 Julia graduated from San Francisco State University with a Fine Arts degree with a dual concentration in Ceramics and Art History. Her current work is mainly focused on functional, thrown and altered forms that explore line and surface interaction.
Her other passion lies in connecting communities through clay. She adores teaching and hopes to encourage students to develop a deep relationship with clay and a passion for ceramics through her multifaceted teaching approach.
