Advanced Throwing Large | 6-Week Class
In this class students will explore methods and techniques of throwing large. Students will be guided to make vessels that can be stacked and attached to one another, throwing with coils, throwing larger amounts of clay, and more. Clay body choices and form and proportions of larger vessels will be discussed.
Advanced methods of throwing, trimming, and a variety of finishing techniques will be demonstrated. Students will be able to create pieces with their own style and work with the instructor to create a cohesive design. Success of this class is dependent on outside course work.
